Re-energise your body and tone your muscles
Pilates represents a unique approach to exercise which develops body awareness, increases flexibility and range of movement, tones and lengthens muscles, brings your mind and body into alignment and re-energises your body in a way conventional workouts cannot. It requires no equipment other than the space to move! It is accessible to anyone, young and old.
Over time our bodies become "hard-wired" to work in a certain way and this normally results in poor posture and overly weak or tight muscles - depending of course on the job we perform in our day to day lives. Pilates works to correct any postural problems we may have, and gradually re-educate our bodies.
Pilates helps to:
- Increase and create a balance between strength and flexibility
- Create an awareness of and strengthen dynamic stability
- Improve coordination
- Release stress
- Improve posture
I offer Pilates training on a one to one or small group basis in the home, garden or workplace. I provide exercise mats and relaxing music for your comfort during the session.
